"TRE® is an innovative series of exercises that assist the body in releasing deep muscular patterns of stress, tension and trauma. The exercises safely activate a natural reflex mechanism of shaking or vibrating that releases muscular tension, calming down the nervous system. When this muscular shaking/vibrating mechanism is activated in a safe and controlled environment, the body is encouraged to return back to a state of balance."

Why TRE?

I personally decided to become a TRE facilitator after experiencing the effects it had on my own life and freedom. After practicing TRE I have experienced my relationship to my body in a new way. I feel brave enough to experience a wider range of sensations and emotions, which in turn allows me to rides the waves of life's ups and downs more comfortably.

When our bodies perceive threat our biology reacts to help us survive using 4 main methods : fight , flight, freeze or fawn. This activation is often happening on the subconscious level, and it can be hard to recognize it at first. If our bodies don't have the proper method to release this build up of activation, the stress gets stored in our bodies - causing dysregulation, and a myriad of stress related symptoms. TRE is one method to help your body release this stored stress.

TRE is a natural shaking mechanism that happens within the body. Through these internal tremors our body lets go of built up activation, releasing stress and returning ourselves to homeostasis. TRE is often relaxing and my goal is to always go at a pace that encourages growth without overwhelming.

TRE can become a self practice, much like yoga or meditation. It can be done at home on your own. My goal as a facilitator is to provide you with the tools and awareness to be able to access this tension releasing response whenever you may need it.

TRE helps us become focused on what our body is actually feeling instead of what our mind or ego is trying to enforce. This awareness of the body is a path to lifelong, sustainable healing.
